- MONEY – please donate to one of the verified charity funds or volunteer organizations from the list here. Local organizations work directly with volunteers in Ukraine, buying and shipping aid directly where it is needed the most. DONATE NOW
- VOLUNTEERING (buying, collecting and shipping supplies, fundraising, information campaigns etc) – please fill the volunteer registration form here and / or contact one of the local Ukrainian organizations / groups from this list.
- REFUGEE SUPPORT – if you would like to help people fleeing the war in Ukraine you can sign up with local Refugee Settlement Coordinators (Ukrainian Canadian Congress in BC and allied organizations) via this registration form (personal data protected). We will reach you as people start arriving here and your profile will match their needs. More information is also available here.
- ATTENDING PUBLIC EVENTS to show support to Ukraine, raise awareness of the genocide happening in Ukraine now and demand urgent harsher actions against Russia from Canadian and other world governments. See when is the next rally, public event in you community – check calendar of events.
- INFORMATION SUPPORT – please write articles to local press, show your support on social media, write a letter to your MP, Prime Minister etc. If you work with media and would like to share a story about our cause – please email uccvancouver@gmail.com with your request or contact our volunteers directly.
- MATERIAL GOODS (clothing, food etc) – due to complicated logistic of shipping goods from Canada to Ukraine we focus mainly on sending tactical / protective military ammunition and first medical aid supplies. Basic daily needs products, clothing etc might be needed when we have refugee wave coming. At this time you can sign up here with a note of what exactly you can help with (list of goods) and local volunteers will contact you when need arises. You can also contact local volunteers directly to ask if any goods are needed now.
- PROFESSIONAL SERVICES – immigration support, translations, psychological support etc – please sign up here indicating services you can provide. Also you can email us at uccvancouver@gmail.com with your proposal.
- SUPPORTING LOCAL UKRAINIAN BUSINESSES – please see the list of local businesses (Vancouver and BC) who are actively supporting Ukraine by generous donations, providing free services for volunteers etc. Please consider bringing your business there to show your support to Ukrainian cause.
- MILITARY SERVICE – if you consider going directly to Ukraine to join Ukrainian Armed Forces as foreign volunteer please check information here.

We are eager to provide support for displaced Ukrainians as they navigate this challenging transition, and connect compassionate British Columbians to volunteer and donation opportunities.

Looking to donate or volunteer?
Housing – please fill out the United for Ukraine Housing Intake Form. The purpose of this form is to collect the information needed to connect you with settlement organizations that are supporting Ukrainians with available housing as they arrive to BC. A Criminal Record Check is required. It’s a simple process to complete and it’s free.
Goods and Services – please fill out the In-kind Ukraine Donation Intake Form. (United Way British Columbia (UWBC) will coordinate and direct donations according to community needs.)
Volunteer – please sign up using this page to view all volunteer activities in support of displaced Ukrainians arriving in BC. (There is a specific need for volunteers fluent in Ukrainian.)
